After Sending Assessments and reminders, you will be guided to Step 3 where you can record your session. If you return to any other step from the Patient Management table, you can navigate to Step 3 at any time.
Select 'In person' from the dropdown menu:
Ensure you allow Oqea Frame to access your microphone and camera through your browser settings if you wish to use ambient listening to transcribe your audio.
Note: Read Choosing the right microphone to find out more about how to get the best performance from this feature.
As you start your session it is best practice to gain your patient's consent for the use of an transcription feature during your session. This feature will generate a script that will be used as an input into the clinical analysis. To help guide the conversation with your patient, we've provided some key points for you to cover.
Access these by clicking 'View how it works' here:
Once you gain consent, you can click the 'Start AI Abmient with consent' button. The volume indicator will move to show recording is in progress. You can click the 'Transcriptions' tab to check the audio transcription is recording correctly, but this will be hidden by default.
You can also add notes while in session with your patient to add any observations that may be missed through the audio transcription. This note is limited to 1000 characters.
You can pause your transcription at any time, but there is no 'Stop'. Simply click 'Save' and the transcription will be saved.
Note: If you, or your patient, choose to 'Mute' your microphone, you will see a warning that the transcription will be interruped until you are unmuted.
Since two (or more) people are being captured on one microphone input, you will be prompted to attribute the patient to the speaker at the end of an in-patient call. This is very important to do correctly, so we reccomend closely reviewing the script to make sure you assign the right person to what was said.
